What is different about the Cyberseminar program?
What’s different is the interaction. Through this seminar, you can see slides, hear the speaker, respond to questions posed to you electronically, and follow links for further information.
How much time is involved?
Each Cyberseminar is designed to take approximately 1-2 hours to complete, at one sitting or over time at your convenience.
How much does each Cyberseminar cost?
Each Cyberseminar is free. However, to obtain a Certificate of Completion you will need to complete a short, online evaluation survey and pay a fee of $15. How many CPEUs will I receive?
You will receive a Certificate of Completion that documents 2 CPEUs.
How do I obtain a certificate of completion?
After completing the Cyberseminar, submit the evaluation survey and then register for the certificate and include your payment. Further directions are at the end of the Cyberseminar.
How do I obtain CPEUs from the American Dietetic Association?
Your Certificate of Completion will document completion of 2 hours or 2 CPE units. Most Registered Dietitians now maintain their own records in their Professional Development Portfolio rather than having the provider submit hours to the ADA; we can submit the hours to the American Dietetic Association for those who still require it. The University of Massachusetts – Amherst Department of Nutrition is an accredited CPE Provider with the American Dietetic Association, number UN002.
How do I enroll?
You can begin the seminar at any time; Complete the Registration Survey to obtain a username and password.
