Food Safety for Family Day Care Providers will help you learn about:

  • Assessing meals and snacks for food safety risks
  • Resources for you and the children in your care

This web site will guide you through the three units to complete the entire course. You will be directed through the following steps:

  • To Your Health
  • Supplemental factsheets

Complete activities and submit them to the instructor for feedback

  • Assess Your Menu for Food Safety Hazards
  • Go With the Flow to Keep Food Safe

Do activities with the children in your care such as:

At the Conclusion

When you have completed the activities and evaluation and submitted them to the instructor, you will receive a certificate for two training credits from credits from the University of Massachusetts Extension and the Massachusetts Department of Education.
