Comments from our Participants

• I need the convenience of an online course.  Being able to access the information whenever I wanted and to reread the material is great.  You do not get sidetracked with other students’ questions or discussions but there was help if needed. - D.B., Adams, MA

• Great course, highly recommended, great interactions with the other students/providers and interactions with the Professor David.  Very positive experience all around! What I liked most was that although I had a timeline to follow in completing assignments, I could pick up at any time of the day and do my assignments as my schedule permitted without having to make the time to attend a traditional" course.  A great way to acquire the mandatory 4 hours of training for my yearly food program training. - L.M., Melrose, MA

I really like the articles because they were so informative. I also really liked the discussion forums.  I think people are more likely to participate when they are not in a large classroom.  I was able to get some great ideas form the other students. - D.R., N. Grafton, MA

• I liked the fact that I could do this when it was convenient for me. I printed out the articles and read them when I had a few minutes. I would love to take more courses like this. It fits my busy life nicely. - K.A.W., Athol, MA

• This course was filled with information.  It really makes you think twice about the practices you have in your daycare. - D.S., East Falmouth, MA

This course has been a great resource to help prevent foodborne Illness in my daycare, my family and share this information with my friends. Thank you so much for this opportunity and I hope that soon more courses of these will be available online. Gratefully thanks for remembering us, the daycare providers. - P.S., Malden, MA

This class was great, I just had a baby the beginning of the month, it was great to be able to work at times good for me.  It was also a great to learn new things and just remind us of how important some things are for good health! - H.B., Dudley, MA
