Food Safety for Family Day Care Providers

This interactive online course is designed especially for child care givers to help increase their knowledge of foodborne illness and safe food handling practices needed to feed and care for young children.

This course was developed with funding from the Massachusetts Department of Education, Nutrition, Health, and Safety and counts as partial training credits required for participants in the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Online Registration Food Safety for Family Day Care Providers

Time: Course is spread out during 3 to 4 weeks; Approximately 1 hour per week.

Credit: Non-credit. Four training credits, part of which can be used for the CACFP training requirement

Cost: $40

Technical Requirements: Basic computer skills, Internet access, and an email account
